Vixen

We bred Vixen and she was born on the 25th of June 2007. Vixen is very special to us as she is the daughter to the very first whippet we owned Jess.

Vixen has been trained to work alongside the ferrets, both with or without the use of nets. She's also a very good lamping bitch, she uses her brain in cutting off the rabbits escape route often making difficult catches look relitively easy. To date Vixen is the best rabbit catching dog we have ever owned.

Vixen has also done very well in the show ring in the whippet classes at Gamefairs and lurcher shows

Vixen has also proved herself as a more than capable working whippet accounting for hundreds of rabbits,She completed her second seasons work and she has gone from strength to strength. The best nights lamping so far Vixen caught 24 rabbits from just 25 runs, i doubt she will ever beat that catch to run ratio as the conditions were perfect and she was running out of her skin. She always gives 100% in everything she does whether ferreting or lamping, it's just a pleasure to watch her work.
